REFRACTALOY 26 R26 Corrosion Resistant High Temperature Resistant Nickel Alloy
REFRACTALOY 26 is a high heat resistant alloy of nickel, chromium, cobalt and iron, possessing high creep and endurance strengths along with high ductility at elevated temperatures. It responds to precipitation-hardening heat treatment.
R26 has been used to produce steam turbine with fasteners on the ground, under the condition of 540 ℃ ~ 570 ℃ steam can work more than 100000 hours, use in good condition. Similar alloys are used abroad to make aerospace turbine engine fasteners and blades.
The alloy has a good shape at medium temperature, and will reduce the fracture of the parts due to endurance and creep in long term use. No harmful TCP phase was found in the alloy after long-term aging or long-term stress aging in the temperature range.
