Product Description

4J36 Low Expansion Iron-Nickel Alloy Strip Wire YB/T 5241-1993

4J36 is well known as Invar 36 worldwide. It is a low expansion alloy with Curie point of around 230°C. When the temperature is below this point, 4J36 is magnetic and the expansion rate is very low. And when the temperature goes above this point, it becomes non-magnetic and the expansion rate goes bigger. 4J36  particularly useful in applications where minimum thermal expansion and high dimensional stability is required, such as in precision instruments like optoelectronic devices, optical and laser benches, electronics, and other kinds of scientific
