W.Nr. 2.4631 Nickel-Chromium Alloy working temperatures up to 815°C

 

W.Nr. 2.4631  is a wrought, age-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy, strengthened by additions of titanium, aluminum and carbon, developed for service at temperature up to 815°C(1500°F).It has excellent creep and oxidation resistance below 815 °C, the alloy Can be used for gas turbine components such as blades, rings and discs. Other applications include bolts required to work in temperature and stress limits and the engine exhaust valves and other high-strength parts.

 

W.Nr. 2.4631 (Nimonic 80A) has been replaced by the Nimonic 90 and Inconel X-750, but is still widely used in nuclear power field due to its low cobalt content.

 

We have a deeply research on the cold heading disc of alloy W.Nr. 2.4631,after rolling,peeling,annealing,polishing, phosphorization treatment and other processes,the disc can effectively avoid cracking and other problems,and improve the production efficiency and output rate, We also can provide various round steel and forgings of 2.4631.
