Age Hardening Special Stainless Steel Custom 465 Hot Rolled Rod Round steel
Custom 465 is a martenite precipitation-hardened stainless steel, this steel type has extremely high strength, excellent toughness and corrosion resistance.
Custom-465 has been widely used in the medical device industry, because of its extremely excellent strength and toughness, allowing the device to withstand great torque during surgery. The unique performance of Custom465 stainless steel makes it possible to design smaller sizes and cross-sectional devices for minimally invasive surgery.
Excellent fracture and impact toughness of the alloy are critical when making the surgical tools. Under the same material strength conditions, the Custom-465 has twice the impact toughness of other commonly used medical martensite aging hardened stainless steel 455 and 17-4.
