3J33 is a low carbon and high nickel type ultra high strength maraging steel. The properties of the alloy are further improved by adding rare earth cerium. 3J33 has high strength, high elasticity limit, high energy storage ratio, low internal consumption, good toughness, fatigue resistance, stress corrosion resistance, good impact resistance,and good thermal stability and processing performance.The alloy has strong magnetic properties and poor corrosion resistance.

 

The alloy produced by vacuum induction furnace and vacuum vacuum smelting process, usually delivered in hot processing state (hot rolling and hot forging) or cold pull.
