ASTM A494 CY5SnBiM J26055 Casting Nickel Alloy Anti Galling
A-ONE ALLOY supplies CY5SnBiM Anti Galling nickel alloy in forms of round bar and casting parts per customer spec & drawing.
ASTM A494 CY5SnBiM(J26055) offers good strength and superior corrosion resistance. It could be used at temperatures up to 500° F(260°C), is ideal for use wherever close clearance with moving parts is required and can be machined with or without coolant.
ASTM A494 CY5SnBiM(J26055) is used to avoid galling in devices which have metal-to-metal contact and which require corrosion resistance to a wide variety of chemicals. While the predominant use for ASTM A494 CY5SnBiM(J26055) is in rotors for positive displacement pumps used in the food industry, it is also used in multiple applications in other industry.
ASTM A494 CY5SnBiM(J26055) cannot be heat treated. It is used in the as-cast condition.
